I bought a MG50GFX combo and it behaves abnormally, so that on 2 channels, after selecting any effect (e.g. chorus or flanger) to a preset (STORE mode) and always when returning to the saved preset, ONLY the octaver is started - so the effect circuit is unusable (you can never play another effect after returning, only the octaver - only on 2 channels). I remind you that I did not select the octaver and I do not use it. Apparently a faulty part. Any advice?
just got my code 50 3 days ago and it had firmware 1.46. i could save presets from my marshall to my amp easily. tonight i updated to the latest firmware 1.48 and now i can't save presets to my amp anymore. anyone know why?
I really need a wiring schematic with color code for the Marshall Origin 50 (H) As after hours online the only one i can find is one without a color code and is basically worthless that way, so please...any clues welcome, Axe
Bonjour,

Hi,
I own a MG30GFX-C, which is my first amp bought with my first electric guitar. It loses the sound after few minutes, specially in the crunch setting. I thought it was a probem with the guitar, but I never lose the sound with a digital amp, for example playing with garageband on iPad.
Amp was bought 13 months ago, so warranty is over, but is it still repairable? Is it worth it? Thanks in advance for your advices!
Hi All,
I am new to this forum.
I have a multiroom network using the Marshall Stanmore 1 and a Marshall Uxbridge.
Now I want to expand preferably with a Marshall Woburn.
Is this possible at all because it seams the new generations only have bluetooth ?

Rob

I have a Code 100 combo amp. Bluetooth connectivity was working wonderful until about a week ago when the gateway would not app would not connect. I have been going through all of the trouble shooting steps and am having no luck getting the amp to reconnect to any devices via bluetooth. I have followed the suggestions given, and am having no luch whatsoever. I "forgot" my code in bluetooth in an attempt to re-pair... and now my code does not even show up as an option in bluetooth! I have held "amp" while powering on to perform a factory reset. No use. I have deleted and re-installaed the gateway app. Pointless. I have connected my PC to check for firmware updates (my CODE is up to date). I have tried connecting with other devices... still, my CODE is not visible in bluetooth for ANY devices (other iPhones, iPads.. etc.). I am out of options at this point.. PLEASE HELP!

Hello,
I own a JMP 2204 from 1980. Today when I switched it on (after the warm-up phase) I suddenly noticed a strong change in pitch, the sound became duller. When I tried to change the treble control, I noticed that at 10 the sound was completely gone and at 0 it was the loudest. However, there was no change in the pitch. I swapped the V2 for another ECC83, no difference.
What could this be?What to do?
Thank you very much!
Hello,
Is it possible to adjust the volume of the auxiliary input (3.5 mm jack)?
I have presets where the volume is too loud compared to the backing track coming from my phone through the auxiliary input.
One solution is to lower the master volume of my preset, but that's not the ideal solution.
Thx for your help.

Bonjour,
Hello,
I recently purchased a Code 50, 230v, but I have questions about the electrical installation in my house. What is the amperage required for the sockets where I will plug it in?
Hi there,
After a lot of years my footswitch has been broken of my Marshall JCM2000 TSL602 Combo.
I can't find the original footswitch, is there an alternative?
The productnumber of the original footcontroller is PEDL00021
Kind regards.
With the Code, what are Pre Amp, Power Amp and Cabniet, and what do they each do? Do they all have to be on? I don't know much about Amps.
Two Questions
1. I have and old Lead 12 Mini Stack with a defective head. Can I use a splitter to connect the two 16 ohm Lead 12 cabs to the 16 ohm output on a Vietnamese DSL1HR amp head. I am considering purchasing a new DSL1HR head if it is compatible with the application described above.
2. Where would you recommend I send the old Lead 12 head for repair.
Thanks,
Edgeward
Is there a function to run more than one preset at a time? If not, can you please make this a function, Marshall? I like the amp, but I'm wanting to run two amps at the same time. Other modeling systems allow this.
Hi Guys,
I am very new to learning and new to the marshall code amp. My question to the group is regaqrding tones.
trying to stay motvivated, and finding a tone from aband I like helps. I know that the setup on the guitar really dicatates that, but was wondering if anyone could help me dial in the Mikey Houser tone from Widespread Panic and the tone Jerry Garcia uses on Estimated Prophet.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Can someone please explain to me how to use the Looper Preset as an actual looper? Or, can it be? If not, what is it for?
Merci.

I bought a used code 50 "brand new" (label still present - amp just tried by previous owner but too complicated for him). After a few minutes or sometimes 1/2 hour..) the sound cuts out. Turning off and turning on again allows the amp to be restarted but the same problem occurs again. The amp is still under warranty but before calling the after-sales service of the internet site (Bax Music) I would like to know if anyone has a simple way to solve the problem. Thank you.
